Eric Kinsella is founder, majority shareholder and Executive Chairman of Jones Engineering Group, an International Engineering Construction Group based in Dublin, which provides mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, fire protection and maintenance solutions for World class clients throughout Europe and the Middle East. The Group, currently employing over 2000 people, also provides technical specialists, experienced supervisors and project management personnel on medium term assignment to its International Client base.
Eric is founder and owner of ESPRIT Investments Ltd., an Irish investment and property development company that he founded in 2014. He is founder and owner of SARL Esprit du Midi, a French investment and property development company which he founded in 2006.
Eric is a Chartered Engineer and a Graduate of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, London. He is an MSc Graduate of Trinity College Dublin, awarded in 1970. Together with his wife Barbara, he has made substantial gifts to Trinity College Dublin in the areas of student study facilities and engineering scholarships.
He is a member of the advisory council to the Provost at Trinity College, Dublin.
He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree by Trinity College Dublin, in 2016.
John is Group Finance Director and Company Secretary, with overall responsibility for the financial, purchasing and IT operations of Jones Engineering Group. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin.
Having qualified with KPMG in Dublin, John spent several years working with KPMG in Philadelphia. On his return to Ireland in 1991 he was seconded to the Department of Transport, Energy and Communications as a financial advisor for three years. John then joined Fujitsu Microelectronics Ireland Limited as Finance Director until 2000. Since then he had similar roles in the Technology Sector before joining the Jones Engineering Group in late 2008.
He became a Shareholder in ESPRIT Investments Limited in 2015.
Kieran Butler has been working with Jones Engineering Group for the last 25 years and has also been working with ESPRIT Investments since 2016, where his main role is as the Client representative and project manager for Project Townsend.
Kieran, is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration. He holds an MAI from Trinity College Dublin, an MBA from the Smurfit School of Business and an LLM from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen
Pat Murphy has been employed by Jones Engineering Group since 2000, he has been working with ESPRIT Investment since 2018 as Project Manager and client representative on many of their recently completed projects. Patrick graduated with an honours degree in Building services Engineering in 1994 from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
